We've arrived

Katie and I are in Sarajevo. The weather is beautiful and there are thousands of people out on the streets and in all the coffee shops. We've met with the embassy staff and are looking forward to our first trip tomorrow to Zenica. They have a full schedule planned with the teens, the mayor, the parents and more. We even bought a road map, but many of the roads don't have numbers, so it could get interesting. It took us 15 minutes to figure out how to lock the doors on our rental car and when we did we left the lights on. It's a good thing the front desk saw that or we really would have gotten off to a slow start. We also have an Itlaian cell phone since US phones don't work here, but so far we can't figure that out too. It's a good thing that when we return next year we'll have 5 Delaware 4-H members with us to solve these technical issues. Keep looking at this blog. Tomorrow should be interesting. We've been up for about 30 hours even though it's only 3:30 p.m. here, so we plan to crash and burn for a while. See ya later!
