Having a wonderful time in Banja Luka

Hello! The trip has been nothing short of fabulous so far. We had a really nice time in Zenica with Edina, Hana, Berina, and Nermin. They showed us all around their beautiful city, took us to some nice restaurants, and even had us meet the Mayor of their town. The food has been excellent, we play the game where they just choose items for us and then we're surprised with what we get. It's been a great way to try a little bit of everything. We were sad to leave them but excited to come to Banja Luka. The drive was nice, even though I slept for a little bit of it. It was a pretty interesting part of the trip when all of the signs went from latin to cyrlic. It made no sense at all to Mark or I so the fact that we made it Banja Luka only an hour late is pretty impressive. I really loved our time in Banja Luka. It's a very cool city, it's pretty metropolitan and it has a very European feel to it. We enjoyed a really nice walk around the city today. In both cities we've had the pleasure of meeting all of the student's parents. They are all so nice and it's been really neat to meet them. We've also had presentations and learned about the awesome projects that the youth are doing here. They are working with children in both cities, to start 4-H clubs in Zenica, and working with children who are deaf in Banja Luka. I could write so much more but we have to be moving on to Livno. So until later, Cao!
